Where to Find Your Software Information 

How to get your DTX Studio™ Clinic Software version?

  1. On the software select "Menu"
  2. Go to "Account Details" to access the name and program version.

How to get your DEXIS Imaging Software version?

  1. Click the DEXIS logo in the upper right-hand corner of your software.
  2. Select Preferences and Component Licensing to get your DEXIS Practice Name and Phone Number.

 

Onboarding Process

Q: How long does installation take?

A: Installations can range from a few minutes to multiple hours depending on several factors including your current software version, IT infrastructure and number of workstations. We recommend that you schedule the update on a day where you have a lighter patient schedule or when the practice is closed.

Q: Is training included with my purchase?
A: Yes, we provide self-learning training options. You will receive links to training materials in a welcome e-mail after completing your purchase.

Q: Will I get auto billed after the 1st 60 days? Does my subscription auto-renew?
A: After 60 days you will be automatically billed for a 1-year license. Your subscription will automatically renew each year unless otherwise cancelled.

Difference between DEXIS 9 vs. DEXIS 10

Q: What version of DEXIS software do I need to purchase DEXassist Solution?
A: In order to use DEXassist Solution, you must be on DEXIS 10.4 or greater. For customers on an older version of DEXIS 10, we will update you to 10.4. For customers on DEXIS 9, we will import your data over to DEXIS 10.

Q: What is the difference between DEXIS 9 and 10?
A: DEXIS 10 is very similar to DEXIS 9 with minimal workflow differences. The main differences include an improved database, AI capabilities and more frequent innovative software updates. See below for a full list of benefits:

Q: Will my staff need to be re-trained on DEXIS 10?
A: No, the imaging workflow of DEXIS 10 is very similar to DEXIS 9. Your staff may only notice minimal differences and will be able to use the software immediately after the upgrade is complete.

Q: How long does it take to complete a DEXIS 9 to 10 install?
A: Installation time can vary depending on several factors. Typically, the upgrade from DEXIS 9 to DEXIS 10 takes several hours to a half day. We recommend that you schedule the update on a day where you have a lighter patient schedule or when the practice is closed.

Q: Are there any differences in system requirements between DEXIS 9 and 10?
A: There are very minimal system requirement differences.

AI Performance 

Q: How accurate is AI?
A: 2D AI Dental Findings are aimed at ensuring that we quickly get the user's attention towards certain areas of interest. It is also an excellent tool for patient education and aid in ensuring that patients understand and accept treatment. In general AI detection cannot be 100% accurate. AI is a tool to assist with your diagnostic process. 

Q: There are some findings that I am not interested in, can I turn specific findings off?
A: Yes, the AI menu allows you to control which findings you wish to turn on or turn off. You can also hide specific findings at the image level.

Q:  Why might I disagree with a finding?
A: When AI identifies a pattern within the bone which matches one of the findings, it highlights it. This could be due to artifacts from the intraoral sensor or poor angulation where specific patterns or radiopacities get highlighted.

Q: Will the AI improve overtime and will new features be added?
A: With your subscription, we plan to release several AI software updates each year, with additional improvements and new features.

5. What is the cancellation policy for subscriptions?

If you wish to cancel your subscription, login in your account and manage your subscription or click on the link you recieved on the email confirming your subscription. Please note that no refund or credit will be provided for payments processed before the time of cancellation notice.

7. Can I get a refund for my subscription?
